Old Church. From an old postcard (franked 1909), Bulman Collection. Some photos recently sent to me show that this church is St. Clement. A modern view. Another view. The church is no longer safe to use, and the congregation meet instead in what was previously the church hall. TF 558 639. All photos © Dave Westrap. Link.

The former Roman Bank Primitive Methodist Church (on Roman Bank), now in secular use. TF 5649 6366. © George Weston. Another view, This source dates it to 1899-1979, and that it had been preceded by an earlier chapel of 1881 "across the road". Although I haven't been able to confirm its position on a map, the building seen here (gable-end to the road) in a Streetview from 2019 is a possible candidate. © David Regan (2021). Link.

St. Matthew on Scarborough Avenue. Its grade II listing dates it to 1879-85. TF 5664 6353. From an old postcard in Steve Bulman's Collection. A modern view (composite photo), © Dave Westrap. Another view, © David Regan (2021). Link.

St. Paul (Baptist). TF 566 631. © Dave Westrap.

An unusual use for a static caravan - the Seventh-day Adventist Church. TF 556 637. © Dave Westrap.
