Hebron Pentecostal Church on North Bridge Street. It's dated here to 1891-2 as Presbyterian. NZ 3967 5774. © Peter Morgan. The most recent Streetview of 2020 shows that it was, at that time, showing a church sigh for the Redeemed Christian Church of God, though even that may have been out of date, as it seems to now be in use as a gym.

Monkwearmouth Spiritualist Church on Newcastle Road. This shows on a map of 1896-7 as Emmanuel Church (Congregational), and it was later Welsh Presbyterian. NZ 3933 5911. © Steve Bulman. Another view, © Peter Morgan (2022). Link.

A former Primitive Methodist Chapel stands on Newcastle Road. It's dated here (where there is an old photo) to 1889, and quotes another source for its closure date of 1942. It's now in commercial use. © Peter Morgan (2022).

St. Benet (R.C.) on The Causeway. NZ 3992 5796. © Peter Morgan. Another view, © Bill Henderson. Link.

St. Peter on St. Peters' Way. The tower and part of the walls are 7th century survivals. NZ 4017 5778. © Peter Morgan. Two additional views - 1, 2, both © Steve Bulman. An old postcard from Christopher Skottowe's Collection shows detail of the porch carvings. The grade I listing has more details on the various building phases.
