Lytham St. Annes, Lancashire
Lytham St. Annes on Wikipedia,
which has comment on whether it should be St. Anne's or St. Annes.
Popular usage seems to favour the latter (though the pedant in me
favours the former), so that's what I've gone with.
Churches in Ansdell,
Fairhaven, St. Annes.
The demolished Elim Mission (Pentecostal) on Victoria Street.
This wasn't an Elim church, despite the name, but it was perhaps preaching here that inspired
George Jeffreys to name the church he founded after it. Closed before 1974, and
subsequently demolished to make way for housing. SD 373 274. From Alan K. Taylor's Collection.
