The former Primitive Methodist Chapel of 1893 on Malew Street is now in commercial use. Its My Primitive Methodists entry dates it to 1889, a replacement for an earlier chapel of 1823 - though whether it was on the same site isn't stated. Another view. SC 2643 6756. Both © Derek West.

The Methodist Church of 1834 on Arbory Street was originally Wesleyan. Immediately adjacent stands the earlier Wesleyan Chapel of 1801, now used as a Sunday School. SC 263 674. A 2010 Streetview shows both chapels together. Both © Derek West. Link1. Link2.

St. Mary on the Harbour dates from 1838, when it was built as a school. Interior view. The church website advises that they have only been based here since 1989. Both © John Balaam (2011). They moved here from the 1826 church of St. Mary, which has been converted to office use. SC 2652 6736. © Derek West. The 1826 building was successor to the first St. Mary (C13) at SC 2654 6735.
