The former Primitive Methodist Chapel of 1893 on Malew Street is now in commercial use. Its My Primitive Methodists entry dates it to 1889, a replacement for an earlier chapel of 1823 - though whether it was on the same site isn't stated. Another view. SC 2643 6756. Both Derek West.

The Methodist Church of 1834 on Arbory Street was originally Wesleyan. Immediately adjacent stands the earlier Wesleyan Chapel of 1801, now used as a Sunday School. SC 263 674. A 2010 Streetview shows both chapels together. Both Derek West. Link1. Link2.

St. Mary on the Harbour dates from 1838, when it was built as a school. Interior view. The church website advises that they have only been based here since 1989. Both John Balaam (2011).
