Baptist Church on Jameson Street. NR 3116 5976. © Martin Briscoe. A comment on its Canmore entry says it has been in use "since the early 1800's". A former Free Church stands on High Street. Jim Napier tells me that the church was made round so that the devil couldn't hide in a corner! A 2009 Streetview provides another view. Canmore entry. Its Category A listing dates it to 1767-9.
