Bethany Baptist Church on Tynycoed Crescent, Cefn Fforest, as seen by Streetview in 2021. Coflein dates it to the mid-20th century. ST 1632 9788. © Gerard Charmley (2011). A 2021 Streetview provides another view.

The former Jerusalem Independent Chapel on St. David's Avenue doesn't seem to have been seen by Streetview, and I haven't been able to find a photo of it on-line. ST 1782 9711. Its Coflein entry dates it to 1840, and says it was converted into flats "by 1997".

Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on High Street, as seen by Streetview in 2022. The Streetview map labels it as "permanently closed". ST 1741 9751.

Mount Pleasant Baptist Church (2021 Streetview) on Cefn Road and Holly Place. Its Coflein entry dates it to 1891, and also says it was "possibly rebuilt during the early twentieth century". This seems likely as aerial views suggest that it's a little larger than the footprint shown on a map of 1901. ST 1731 9734. Link.

The 1920 O.S. map shows a Presb. Ch. on Bridge Street at ST 1758 9692. Coflein, which describes it as "Bridge Street Chapel (English Presbyterian and Calvinistic Methodist)", dates it to 1910, with closure "by 1996". It survives, in commercial use, and was seen by Streetview in 2022.

The Little Theatre (2023 Streetview) on Woodbine Road is a former Primitive Methodist Chapel, dated by Coflein to 1843 and re-built in 1904. According to this source, a P.M. Chapel was opened in 1832, but whether this is Coflein's 1843 chapel or an earlier one is unclear. ST 1731 9713.

St. Margaret (CiW) stands on High Street. Its Coflein entry dates it to two phases, 1875-6 and 1890-1. It isn't well seen on any Streetview (one from 2018 is representative), but a better one can be seen on Geograph. ST 1741 9765. Link.

St. Thomas (CiW) is on Waun Borfa Road and Bryngoleu Street in Cefn Fforest. Its Coflein entry dates it to the late 20th century. That date is evidently incorrect as the church shows on an O.S. map of 1951. ST 1638 9751. © Gerard Charmley (2011).

Trinity Church (Presbyterian Church in Wales), which was originally Trinity Calvinistic Methodist Chapel, and it stands on Derwendeg Avenue in Cefn Fforest, at ST 1625 9775. Coflein dates it to the late 19th century, but this seems to be incorrect as an O.S. map of 1919 (revised in 1916) fails to show it. © Gerard Charmley (2011).

Older O.S. maps mark Wesley Church on what is now Wesley Road at ST 1729 9725. A 2021 Streetview shows a car park on its site. Immediately to its east is Blackwood Methodist Church (2021 Streetview). Coflein calls it Blackwood Central, and dates it to 1898, but again this dating is suspect as it isn't shown on an O.S. map revised in 1916 and published in 1920. Perhaps 1898 is the date of Wesley Church? ST 1733 9723. Link.
