Bridge of Weir, St. Mary the Virgin (Episcopal, 1909). NS 3940 6518. © Martin Richter (2013). Link1. Link2. Freeland Church (CoS, 1826) on Main Street. NS 3877 6561. Link, and some history here. Grade C (S) listed. © Martin Richter (2013). The former St. Machar’s Ranfurly Church (2024 Streetview) stands on Kilbarchan Road at NS 3919 6529. It has evidently closed, as an undated "for sale" webpage is still available at the time of writing. A video of its final service in 2025 can be seen here. It's dated to 1877-8 in its category B listing. A map of 1898 shows (in the script used to denote an ancient building) Site of Chapel, off Prieston Road at NS 3849 6536. Its site is about where the red-roofed white walled building is in a Streetview from 2024. I haven't been able to discover anything about it. A former United Presbyterian Church stands on Prieston Road and Ranfurly Place. NS 3857 6530. A 2009 Streetview shows it for sale. Its category B listing, which calls it Ranfurly Church of Scotland, doesn't provide a date, but maps show it to have been built between 1857 and 1896.
