The Baptist Church on High Street, as seen by Streetview in 2021. POWIS dates it to 1896. NS 9197 9696. Link.

Centenary Hall (2023 Streetview) on Hamilton Street dates from 1864. The hall website gives some history, and says that in its early years the hall was a gospel hall for a Christian Brethren congregation, and possibly used by Baptists as well. NS 9185 9712.

The 25" O.S. map of 1901 shows Christian Fellowship Rooms on Stirling Street at NS 9161 9722. A map of the 1860's labels what may be the same building as Academy, and one of 1920 shows it as Walker Institute. Now in use by a kiltmaker, it was seen by Streetview in 2023.

Church of the Good Shepherd on Ann Street is the former Hillfoots Evangelical Church. Older maps show it as E.U. (Evangelical Union) in 1901 and Gospel Hall in 1920. A brief history of the building can be seen here. See also Centenary Hall, above. A 2023 Streetviews here and here, and when it was still Hillfoots in 2009 here. NS 9182 9696.

The Congregational Church (2023 Streetview) on High Street. According to POWIS it dates from 1875. As of 2024 Google Streetmaps is labelling it as "permanently closed". NS 9204 9697.

There used to be a Free Church (later United Free) on Stirling Street at NS 9170 9708. Pre-dating a map of 1866, POWIS dates it to 1844, demolished 1995. Its outline on the 1866 map and on one of 1901 suggest that there may have been an enlargement or re-build in the intervening years. Housing now stands on its site (2009 Streetview).

The Kirk (2023 Streetview) on Dollar Road is dated in its category B listing to 1827-9. NS 9230 9690. Link.

The site (2023 Streetview) of the pre-Reformation church, of which no visible trace remains, and its surviving graveyard, on Fir Park. NS 9239 9758. Category B listed. Not included in the listing is a hog-backed stone, which is a scheduled monument - more on this (with photos) here.

The former West Church (previously United Presbyterian) on High Street, as seen by Streetview in 2009. NS 9171 9701. Category C listed - dates it to 1840.
