The cemetery on Chapel Lane has a Mortuary Chapel. Large scale O.S. maps label it as Mortuary Chapel on Remains of St. Mary's Church. St. Mary is mentioned here where it says that permission to demolish was granted in 1784, as the church was in a poor condition. There was a long gap before its successor was built (see St. Mary, below), so did this St. Mary survive after 1784? SU 2396 4796. © Chris Kippin (2023). Grade II listed.

St. Andrew's Hall on Avon Road is marked on some O.S. maps as a place of worship. Another view. SU 2335 4819. Both © Chris Kippin (2023).

St. Mary, now in the care of the Churches Conservation Trust, stands on Shipton Road at SU 2354 4770. Another view. Both © Chris Kippin (2023). Link. Grade I listed, wherein it's dated to 1879.
