The former Southwell Chapel on Sheppard's Row. Marked on old maps as a chapel, it hasn't been so shown for over a hundred years. In appearance it looks old enough to be the same building, but today it's in use as the Women's Institute Hall. Janet has been unable to find any information about this chapel - can you oblige? © Janet Gimber (2018).

The former Southwell Workhouse, on Workhouse Lane. Services were held in the ground floor room immediately behind the main door. The only item left from that time is the harmonium. Another building on the site also held services - this room is now the tea room, and the entrance is through the open door at the extreme right here. Interior view. All © Janet Gimber (2018). Link.
