The former Ebenezer Bible Christian Chapel (1877) on The Coombe, now home to the East Cornwall Society of Artists. Interior view. SX 2055 5120. Both © Paul E. Barnett (2016).

Methodist Church on Fore Street. Marked as an otherwise unidentified Chap. or Chapel on old large scale maps, it was Wesleyan, dated here to 1815 (the first chapel, later the Sunday School) and 1904 (second chapel). The first chapel, which is attached to the back of its successor, can just be glimpsed here (behind the red car) in a Streetview from 2023. SX 2073 5096. Another view. Both © Paul E. Barnett (2016 & 2017). Link.

A distant view of the former St. John (left of centre, above the other buildings). Built in 1838, it was closed in 2008 (BBC news story, with a photo), and was then offered for sale with planning permission for conversion to residential use. SX 2082 5092. © Paul E. Barnett (2016). Grade II listed.

The former Wesleyan Methodist Chapel (aka Kirk House) on Talland Hill, now in commercial use. A plaque on the building dates it to 1838-1960, and this source suggests that it may originally have been Wesleyan Methodist Association. SX 2083 5099. © Paul E. Barnett (2016).  The source already mentioned also discusses Couch's House on Lansallos Street, home to the Wesleyan Methodist Association before Kirk House chapel was built. Photos are available on its grade II listing. SX 2078 5095.

The Chapel of St. Peter da Porthpyra (1391) once stood on the hill shown in Paul E. Barnett's photo (© 2017). SX 2096 5083. More information here.
