The former Chapel on Union Road and Huddersfield Road has been converted into flats. The earliest map I have access to which shows it is from 1907, when it's labelled as Mission Hall. Later Church, the map of 1956-8 helpfully labels it as Church of Christ (C of E), and by 1966-72 it's labelled as Church of Christ (Noncon). My thanks to Paul Dover, who has preached there, who has advised that this was properly known as Christian Meeting House, with a Church of Christ congregation. SE 2056 2348. © David Regan (2012).
