St. Mary on Church End. TQ 2287 8957. © Michael Bourne. The appended website describes extensive alterations having taken place by 1915. This postcard (from Steve Bulman's Collection, franked 1908) shows the church as it was before these works. Another view, the font, and the monument to Sir William Rawlinson (d. 1703), all © Christopher Skottowe (1963). Link1. Link2. Grade II* listed. Other listed features associated with the church can be found here.

The Salvation Army Church is on Brampton Grove, and was seen by Streetview in 2021. It has evidently been re-built (or radically altered) in the last few years as a Streetview from 2015 shows. The Army has had a long presence on the site, as an O.S. map of 1896 labels Salvation Army Barracks here. TQ 2329 8914. Link.
