Hawick on Wikipedia.

The Baptist Church on North Bridge Street was seen by Streetview in 2021. NT 5046 1488. Link.

Burnfoot Parish Church (2008 Streetview) on Hillend Drive. NT 5100 1617. Link.

Cavers and Kirkton Parish Church stands across the River Teviot, at NT 5380 1594. It's dated in its very brief category B listing to 1822. Interior view (taken through a window). Both © Alan Marsden (2025). Its predecessor was St. Cuthbert, at NT 5402 1559. It survives (according to its Wikipedia entry, it was used as the parish hall), but it can't be seen on Streetview. Some photos are available here. Its category B listing is equally terse.

Congregational Community Church (2021 Streetview) on Bourtree Place. A 2025 newspaper report announces its impending closure. NT 5052 1490. Category C listed - dates it to 1893-4.

Elim Church, on Fairhurst Drive, as seen by Streetview in 2021. PoWiS says it was originally St. Stephen (R.C.) of 1964. NT 5176 1611. Link.

Mid-20th century maps mark a place of worship on Fairhurst Drive at NT 5158 1594. I haven't been able to discover what it was. Its site lies to the right of the road seen in a Streetview from 2021.

St. Cuthbert (Episcopal) on Slitrig Crescent, as seen by Streetview in 2021. Two interior views - 1, 2, both © Alan Marsden (2025). NT 5015 1417. Link - dates it to 1858, by G. G. Scott. Category B listed.

St. Mary and St. David (R.C.) on Buccleuch Street, as seen by Streetview in 2021. NT 4999 1442. Link.

St. Mary's and Old Parish Church Halls (2021 2021 Streetview) on Buccleuch Place and Buccleuch Road. Despite its appearance, it was never a church, rather the hall for the adjacent Old Parish Church. According to PoWis, the church has dates of 1844-1987, when it was closed for structural reasons. Its site was seen by Streetview in 2021, the surviving hall to its left. A photo of the church can be seen here. NT 4987 1440.

Salvation Army Citadel on Croft Road, as seen by Streetview in 2021. PoWiS dates it to 1961. NT 5041 1491. Link.

Trinity Church (CoS) on Brougham Place off High Street, as seen by Streetview in 2018. A map of 1863 labels it as Church (U.P.). NT 5049 1475.

O.S. maps show a United Presbyterian Church on Commercial Road, just west of the north side of North Bridge, at NT 5038 1518. Its PoWiS entry dates it to 1893-4, replacing a tin tabernacle, says it was later South Parish Church, and was demolished in 2001 or 2002. A photo of the church can be seen here, where it says it was closed in 1987 and demolished in 2001. Its site was seen by Streetview in 2021.
