The former Ladhope Kirk (CoS) on Ladhope Vale. It's dated here to 1838, with enlargement in 1868. NT 4917 3641. © James Denham. The photo was taken from the riverside, the "frontage" of the church (i.e. the rear of the building) on Ladhope Vale can be seen in a Streetview from 2023. The signage now shows the building to be in use as a business centre.

Old Parish and St. Paul's on Scott Crescent. NT 4917 3577. © James Denham. Link - dates it to 1878-81 as St. Paul, successor to the earlier (1813) parish church on Church Street. Category B listed. Part of the 1813 church survives within the old burial ground. It was seen by Streetview in 2023. NT 4945 3571. Category B listed.

The former St. Aiden on Gala Park and Livingstone Place was previously called St. Cuthbert. NT 4912 3606. © James Denham. Streetviews show it to have boarded up in 2008, and demolished between September 2018 and 2021. It was category B listed, wherein it's dated to 1879-80, as United Presbyterian.

The former St. Andrew on Bridge Street and Sime Place is now used as an arts venue. NT 4912 3635. © James Denham. Category C listed - dates it to 1885, and calls it the former Ladhope Free Church.

St. Peter (Episcopal) on Parsonage Road and Abbotsford Road, as seen by Streetview in 2021. NT 4955 3558. Link. Category C listed dates it to 1853 (for the nave) and 1881 (for the rest of the church).

Trinity Church (CoS) is on High Street, as seen by Streetview in 2011. NT 4905 3632. Link. Category B listed, wherein it's called East Church, and dated to 1844, as a United Secession Church.
