A United Free Church (Methodist and U.R.C.) stands at the junction of Riverside and Well Close Square. Originally a flour mill of 1853, it was taken over by a Wesleyan Methodist Congregation in 1867. It was seen by Streetview in 2021. TM 2835 6341. Their website advises of the preceding chapel on Station Road of 1808-1867, demolished in 1868, and the land used to build a skittle alley at the side of a pub - seen here by Streetview in 2021.
