The original All Saints (photo here) was close by at SK 5010 9957. A newspaper article from 1890 describes plans for this church to replace a Mission Church (not located). After demolition, bungalows were built on the site (Streetview 2009).

The former Primitive Methodist Chapel, or possibly the building that replaced it - they have the same footprint. It was built no later than 1896, as this newspaper article mentions a harvest festival in that year. SK 5010 9978. © David Regan (2021).

The site of the demolished Wesleyan Methodist Chapel on Doncaster Road, dateable to no later than 1891 (link). The church still existed (though derelict) when Streetview passed by for the first time in 2008. It was demolished within a year. SK 4996 9979. © David Regan (2021).
