About a mile and half west of Dawlish stand the sad remnants of Lidwell Chapel. Dating from the 13th century, it is grade II listed. SX 924 761. © Andrew Ross (2018). Link.

St. Gregory the Great on Church Street. From an old postcard in Steve Bulman's Collection. A modern photo. © Andrew Ross. Andrew advises that this church was briefly called St. Michael at the turn of the 19th century. He would also like to express his appreciation for the guided tour of this church given to him by local historian Chris Penn.  SX 953 766. See also the Hoare family mausoleum. Another old postcard view, this one from Judy Flynn's Collection. It was previously in the "Unknown" section, and was identified by Phil Draper and Greg Mishevski.
