The former Bethesda Welsh Baptist Church on Church Street is dated 1875. SH 7811 7752. © Martin Briscoe. Its grade II listing says it was a re-build on the site of a predecessor, and was closed in the 3rd quarter of the last century.

Capel Carmel (Calvinistic Methodist) on Chapel Street, pre-dates a map of 1889. SH 7809 7767. © Martin Briscoe. Another view, © Howard Richter (2013). Grade II listed. The adjacent former Sunday School is also listed, as grade II.

Old O.S. maps show St. Agnes's Chapel in a cemetery on St. Agnes Road, at SH 7780 7733. A photo of it can be seen here (undergoing demolition), where it's dated to 1875-circa 1972, a tin tabernacle.

St. Michael and All Angels (R.C.) on Rosemary Lane. SH 7797 7745. © Martin Briscoe. Mike Berrell advises that this closed in 2018.
