Bethel (Welsh Calvinistic Methodist), © Eirian Evans. Geraint Jones has advised that this was re-dedicated as Disgwylfa in about 1970.

Possible converted chapel? © Martin Briscoe. Rob Brettle had suggested that it could be the former Salvation Army building. Geraint Jones has advised that this was an English Presbyterian Chapel, converted to commercial use as a shop in the late 1980's or early 1990's. It stands on Park Road, at SJ 2833 5116. It can be seen on a 2009 Streetview here. Note that its Coflein entry says that it was Calvinistic Methodist. The Salvation Army building was on Heol Maelor, a former Bethesda Baptist Chapel, which closed in about 1923. It was converted into a house a few years ago, and the SA now meets in the above Catholic Church. An old photo is available here, in a scan from a newspaper (scroll down), with a 2011 Streetview here.
