Genuki has an entry for Holy Trinity on Bushey Mill Lane. It's not shown on any of the available on-line maps, dating it to the latter half of the last century. It was seen by Streetview in 2024, signs indicating that it's now in use as a theatrical school. The cemetery on Little Bushey Lane shows on O.S. maps to have had a Mortuary Chapel, at TQ 1371 9681. Aerial views show that it no longer exists - had it survived it would have been seen in a 2019 Streetview, in the middle distance in line with the gates. North Bushey Baptist Church (1961) on Park Avenue, as seen by Streetview in 2024. TQ 1270 9738. Link. Rosary Priory on Elstree Road, as seen by Streetview in 2022. TQ 1544 1950. Link. Sacred Heart of Jesus and St. John the Evangelist (R.C.) on London Road and Merry Hill Road. TQ 1289 9531. © Les Needham (2014). Link. The history page dates it to 1958-9. St. Andrew (Methodist) on High Road, Bushey Heath. TQ 1490 9407. © Les Needham (2014). Link. The history page dates it to 1968, successor to what was originally a Primitive Methodist Chapel of 1850 which stood at the corner of High Street and Melbourne Road. It survives, though well-disguised, and photos can be seen here. TQ 1356 9510. Grade II listed. It was succeeded (briefly) by a tin tabernacle on The Rutts in 1883. A 1984 photo of it can be seen here, but it seems to have been demolished subsequently. None of the available old maps show it. A new chapel on High Road replaced it in 1891. A photo of it can be seen here (p.9), and Streetview saw its site in 2022. TQ 1477 9420. St. James on Rectory Lane. TQ 1303 9522. From an old postcard in Steve Bulman's Collection. A modern view, taken from a similar position. © Marion Hall. Another view, © Les Needham (2014). Link. Grade II* listed. Numerous churchyard monuments are also listed here. The Chapel at St. Margaret's School on Merry Hill Road. TQ 1341 9447. © Karel Kuča (2024). A 2023 news item says that it has been redundant for many years, and reports on planned change of use. St. Paul, on Bushey Hall Road, as seen by Streetview in 2022. TQ 1212 9636. Link has an interior view. It's dated here to 1904. St. Peter on High Road and Elstree Road, Bushey Heath. TQ 1455 9443. © Les Needham (2014). Link. Grade II listed, wherein it's dated to 1836-8. The former U.R.C. on High Street, now a theatre. Older maps label it as Congregational.
