In 2024, Google Streetview was labelling it as "permanently closed". The former Ebenezer Wesleyan Church on Stanningley Road, now in secular use. Genuki dates it to 1876, enlarged in 1888. It's not clear from the available Streetviews which building is the church, but here's one of the entrance from Broad Lane in 2015. Circa SE 241 356. Moriah Primitive Methodist Chapel used to stand off Upper Town Street at SE 2453 3528. A photo of it can be seen here, and its site, which now lies beneath Wesley Close, here, in a Streetview from 2022. The former Primitive Methodist Mission on Stanningley Road. According to this source it used to be known as Brunswick Wesleyan Chapel, and dates from 1823. SE 2455 3522. © Michael Bourne. Link. Since Michael took his photo the entrance has been re-modelled - 2024 Streetview. An otherwise unidentified Chapel used to stand at the corner of Upper Town Street and Hough Lane. It's named here as Wesley Place Methodist Chapel, and will be the United Methodist Free Church mentioned here. SE 2455 3515. The building on its site was seen by Streetview in 2024; the spire of St. Peter can be seen in the background.
