The former Baptist Chapel on Churchfield Road. Another view. SS 4646 3063. Both © Martin Richter (2011). The present Baptist Church is on Meeting Street, and was seen by Streetview in 2023. SS 4647 3061. Link.

Old maps show a Bible Christian Chapel on a narrow side road off Irsha Street, at SS 4631 3081. It hasn't been seen by Streetview, and aerial views suggest it may not have survived. This source, which calls it Ebenezer, dates it to the 1840's (initially as Baptist), bought by the B.C.'s in 1859, closed in 1907, and confirms that it was demolished at some point.

Bethel Evangelical Chapel on The Quay. This was formerly a Seaman's Mission Chapel, and is labelled on a map of 1888 as Bethel Plymouth Brethren Chapel. SS 4654 3057. © Martin Richter (2011).

The former Congregational Chapel on Meeting Street and Alpha Place. The congregation dates back to 1662, though the building itself is of 1816. SS 4640 3057. © Martin Richter (2011). A Streetview from 2023 provides another view. Grade II listed.

The Methodist Church (2023 Streetview) on Dark Lane has a date-stone for 1851. Older maps label it as Wesleyan. SS 4617 3034. Link. Grade II listed.

St. Mary. SS 4639 3066. © Chris Emms (2011). Link. Grade II listed.
